Chapa Express Train is one of newest trains in Vietnam between Hanoi and Lao Cai. Our train has been operated since June, 2014 having 7 cabins which can accommodate up to 28 passengers. Chapa Express Train promises to bring tourists a smooth and safe journey to one of the best destinations in Vietnam, Sapa. Passengers will not only feel satisfied with our modern amenities, clean space, and cozy atmosphere but also useful staffs who are well-trained in both languages to assist guests anytime you need.

Chapa Express Train Deluxe Cabin

Chapa Express Train has 7 private cabins which are decorated in traditional Sapa designs and well-appointed with comfortable beds, air-condition, reading lights, luxury furniture, wood-paneling, clean toilets, hot water, and heaters. There will be also complimentary drinks (hot tea or coffee), snacks, and cold or hot towels to welcome passengers to get in the train.

Each cabin in Chapa Express Train has 4 berths which can be transferred to deluxe cabin with 2 berths upon guest’s requirement. In addition to above listed amenities, other available services in the train include slippers; candy, pie, or biscuits; mineral water; dental kit, com; and paper cup. It takes passengers approximately 8.5 hours to travel from Hanoi to Sapa by Chapa Express Train. The train departs everyday on the route between Hanoi and Lao Cai railways station. It departs from Tran Quy Cap Railway Station (located at No.1, Tran Quy Cap Street, Hanoi City) at 22.00 and arrives at Lao Cai railways station around 6.20 the next morning. On reverse route, the train returns from Lao Cai Station at 21.40 and arrives at Hanoi railways station at 5.20 in the next day.
