A very nice trip
It was a pleasure to use Chapa train for our roundtrip to Lao Cai. It is comfortable and clean. Welcome snacks are a bonus, and the pretty interiors make it even more special! One thing to note is that, all these different Sapa trains are really just different carts connected to the same train. You basically choose the interior of your choice. A really nice lounge at Lao Cai with shower facility. We found that Chapa was a truly local and beautiful choice! Thanks Chapa!
Amazing experience
The cabins are a tiny bit smaller than other trains. But we booked the suit for two and it had an amazing charm. Decorated with the style of Sapa gets you ready for your experience, dark wood and woven fabrics. The toilets stayed clean the whole time which is rare on vietnamese trains. The beds were comfortable and they provided ear plugs to all passengers plus a welcome drink (beer or soda). Would definitely recommend
Great beds
We got a cabin to ourselves - beds were comfortable, train was on time and check-in was smooth. We also got a taxi through them, which made the whole experience stress-free.

Perfect, but be aware of aircondition
I sleep in upper bed right below airvondition and from 7h like 17degree aircondktion I am littlebit sick, but nothing big. Just bring some warm clothes
Comfy and cozy train ride
We booked the suite cabin. We immediately felt right at home, staff welcomed us with drink and snack. The berths were very comfortable and I slept like a baby. We wish the train ride went for longer. High recommended Chapa for train ride to Sapa
Nice experience but it is too tired when stay on the train
Everything is interesting, you can't find this experience in other country (at least I can't) You will receive drink and some cookies and food when you take on the train. But if you are the person not easy to sleep, you should consider about it, because the train operation, you will be very shake. It total spent 8 hour to arrive the terminal, from 10 m to 6 am. After that you need to find the driver to take you to SAPA, if you take bus, you can directly arrive the SAPA.

We had a double sleeper from Sapa to Hanoi. The cabin was roomy enough for what we needed. Very comfortable. The journey was fabulous and the train was very clean. Awesome service from the staff. We look forward to travel with Chapa Express again.
