Clean and comfortable sleeper from Hanoi to Sapa
I really enjoyed our ride on the Chapa Express. The cabins were clean with proper mattress & pillows for our night's rest, it made the ride enjoyable and comfortable. There were also personal night lights and charging points to allow you to read and recharge devices. Some light snacks, drinks and bottled water were also provided for our ride.
Best overnight train I ever travelled on!
Travelled in a beautiful, comfortable and clean VIP cabin. Quality beds and pillows, loved the details and decoration, the linen curtains and the table lamp. Enjoyed the complimentary fruit, snacks and bear. Good customer service via Whatsapp in the days coming up to the departure date, providing all the info and directions. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable ride to Sapa
We took the private cabin for 2 and were very satisfied with the whole experience. Given water, earbuds and some drinks. Beds were clean and very comfortable! Toilets were clean, although with guest usage it deteriorated (would be great if it were cleaned at more regular intervals). Thank you!
Wonderful train ride!
If anyone plans a trip to Sapa from Hanoi this is the way to do it. The train is lovely and comfortable. A must if visiting Vietnam!

Quite a good way to get to Sa Pa
We booked the whole cabin, and could lock it and we felt safe. The beds were comfortable with good duvets keeping us warm, and we could actually get some sleep. There were only one or two stops I believe which was not a problem for our sleep. They gave us some local biscuits and crisps / chips. Toilets were reasonably clean and working, 2 per car. We arrived on time at Lao Cai. I do feel that the check in experience could have been better and more reassuring. It looked like the staff were not ready for us. They were all a little young and didn't look like anyone was in charge. Otherwise it was good. Staff were on board the train to help all the time.
Great customer service and very clean trains!
The train from Hanoi Station to Lao Cai was older but WiFi worked! The train from Lao Cai to Hanoi that arrived this morning was newer but WiFi did not work. Overall, the VIP cabins for two are clean including the toilets. The snacks, drinks and bananas were definitely very welcoming for an 8-hour journey.
Comfortable travel to Sapa
Chapa Express Review (Hanoi to Lao Cai, Shuttle to Sapa) Great experience with Chapa Express. The cabins were clean, comfortable, and came with free refreshments. I had a good sleep both ways. I left a bag on the shuttle bus and called their helpline. They responded quickly, and the driver dropped it off at the reception. Excellent service and highly recommended for a hassle-free trip to Sapa
