Great train service!
This was such a great experience on the Chapa Express from Hanoi to Sapa in the VIP suite … definitely worth it to book the whole suite as a couple. Comfortable beds, unique experience, clean toilet, supplied some snacks and ear plugs at the beginning of journey, and we got to go through train street (Hanoi) which was a bonus! Really cool experience !
Overall good experience
Timings of train service are very awkward, you reach Hanoi by 5.30AM and hotel checkins start by 2pm.

Clean cabin and toilet
The bed was comfortable with plushy pillows. They provide complimentary bottled water, snacks, sodas, snacks and ear plugs. The trip was quieter and smoother than expected. I had a good sleep. Enjoyed my trip with Chapa!
Great experience !
The service is very good. We were with our bicycles. And could bring them on the train. They stored it in another wagon. We took VIP Cabin. You get a drink, snack and earplugs. One tip: bring also something to cover your eyes the curtains are very thin.
Definitely felt like luxury
I booked a sleeper train for 4 people from Sapa to Hanoi and we all had a great experience. We were a little apprehensive at first, thinking we wouldn’t be able to get much sleep but the cabins were clean and comfy. Most of us got decent sleep despite the noise (earplugs are provided) and we were very impressed with the facilities and amenities. Toilets were clean and snacks/water were provided. All in all, we had a great time and would recommend it over a sleeper bus.

Awesome service
I like how Chapa messages you in Whatsapp to make reminders on your train schedule. They also helped us to group together as my mom was on a different room. A room for improvement was a proper communication with the train staff especially for people who needs to get off at Dong Anh station to go to Noi Bai Airport. We missed it but they helped us to get off in the next stop. Kudos still coz we arrived in the airport on time!

A little suprised to receive an email to advise train was leaving 30mins earlier than advertised but at least we knew! Cabin was clean and comfortable, staff helpful
