Thanh Tiên Paper Flower Village

The craft of making Thanh Tien paper flowers originates from folk beliefs. Traditionally, these paper flowers were respectfully placed in sacred spaces such as the Trang Ông, Trang Bà, Am cảnh, and Ông Táo altars. Every year, during the Lunar New Year, the old flowers were replaced with new ones, with the old ones being taken down, burned in a ritual known as "Tẩu." Over the years, Thanh Tien paper flowers have become a cultural symbol in the folk beliefs of the people of Hue, marking the arrival of the Lunar New Year.

Tam Giang Lagoon

Spanning over 22,000 hectares and stretching 68 km across Phong Điền, Quảng Điền, Phú Vang, Phú Lộc, and Hương Trà Town, Tam Giang Lagoon is the largest brackish water lagoon in Southeast Asia. To witness the sunrise 

at Tam Giang Lagoon, it's recommended to depart around 5:30 AM, with a 45-minute journey covering approximately 20 km.

Moreover, you can participate in the Chuồn Village festival in the lunar July and experience the autumn harvest of seafood in the area.
