A Great Romantic
It's something we don't expect for our first experience with sleeper train. The process of booking is smooth with the amazing service by Ms Fang, taking care from booking till the end of journey. As for the train itself, it gives the vibes of classic train inside with decoration of traditional Vietnamese motif which gives you cozy local vibes. The Vip Cabin (2 beds) was definitely worth it if you want to have a romantic trip with your partner, chatting through the night with the sound of train. They provide a lounge at Lao Cai Station for your to wait before the train arrived. You can opt for pick up to the station by them for a peace of mind. The train provide welcoming drinks, snacks, fruits, drinks and bottled water with toothbrush, comb and also ear plug (for light sleeper). The train is not too shaky and it almost feels like a sleeping in a comfortable craddle. Anyhow, a great experience which worth to try if you are travelling to Sapa or from Sapa to Hanoi!

The train was very clean and quite comfortable. The staff took good care of us. Overall a nice way to travel during the night and save the day for exploration.
Good hospitality
The staff are very nice but the train a bit old, lao cai lounge is very clean but the interior is not nice , should consider to refurbish. I paid extra USD50 for two person vip cabin compared to vicsapa

Cabin is clean & cosy. Each cabin is allocated with some drinks & snacks. Beds are comfortable & four of us slept well.
