Prominent Tourist Attractions in Da Nang
If you are in Da Nang in the right season, it is a great place to stay for a few days at the beach. If you are desire a bit more culture and things to do, it is recommended to skip this city and stay in the neighboring town of Hoi An.
My Khe Beach, voted by Forbes as one of the six most enchanting beaches globally, is an indispensable destination in Da Nang. Its mesmerizing scenery with vast stretches of golden sands and inviting azure waters will surely leave visitors in awe. Activities such as canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, paragliding, surfing, and leisurely strolls in East Sea Park are readily available.

City of Bridges
Han River Bridge is Vietnam's first swing bridge. Spanning 487.7 meters long and 12.9 meters wide, with 11 spans including two draw spans, the bridge's middle section can rotate 90 degrees parallel to the river flow to allow large vessels to pass through.
Dragon Bridge is a symbol of the city, representing its aspiration towards the vast sea. On weekends, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings at 9:00 pm, it hosts a spectacular water and fire show.
Thuan Phuoc Bridge is Vietnam's largest cable-stayed bridge. It spans 1,856 meters in length and 18 meters in width, with two pylons at each end and cable-stayed towers extending into the river.
Tran Thi Ly Bridge is named after a female heroine in the anti-American resistance in Quang Nam Province. It is located south of Dragon Bridge, approximately 1.5 km away. There used to be an old bridge of the same name, which has now been replaced by the current bridge.

Cham Sculpture Museum is the only museum dedicated to the Cham culture, preserving artifacts from the ancient Cham Kingdom. Open daily from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, admission is 60,000 dong per person for a one-way visit, with automatic narration services and 4D scan technology for viewing artifact information.

Da Nang Fine Arts Museum houses and exhibits over 1,000 modern art pieces, folk art artifacts, and traditional handicrafts. Open daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, admission is 20,000 dong per person for a one-way visit (50% discount for students).

Tourane Cathedral (French colonial period) or St. Joseph's Cathedral, also known locally as the Rooster Church due to the gray rooster statue on its roof, was commissioned from February 1923 on a plot of land on Rue du Musee (now Tran Phu Street, Da Nang) designed and supervised by Father Vallet. Residents often affectionately refer to the building by this colloquial name.
Asia Park - Sun World Da Nang owns a diverse range of entertainment games increasingly attracting tourists of all ages. For those traveling with children to Da Nang, Asia Park is an excellent choice. Besides thrilling rides, kids can enjoy gentle activities like giant Ferris wheels, moirails, etc.

Market Areas
Con Market is one of the city's oldest and largest markets. Known as a street food paradise, Con Market attracts many visitors with bustling stalls offering a variety of dishes from morning to evening. Popular items include banh beo, rolled rice pancakes with pork, Quang noodles, various shellfish, and desserts like che, typically priced from 10,000 dong. Moreover, local specialties such as pickled fish, squid in tamarind sauce, beef sausage, and fermented pork rolls are popular as gifts.

Han Market with entrances on two main streets, Bach Dang and Tran Phu, is a popular destination for both locals and tourists. Here, you can find a wide range of goods such as clothing, handbags, souvenirs, and local specialties (various pickles, dried foods, etc.).

Helio Night Market operates from 5:00 pm to 10:30 pm daily, offering a vibrant nightlife venue in Da Nang. It features three main areas with hundreds of food stalls, accessories, and themed events each month, a familiar place for the city's youth.

Son Tra Peninsula
Often likened to a precious gem amidst Da Nang's heart, Son Tra Peninsula attracts tourists with its serene natural beauty: lush forests, exquisite beaches, white sands, beautiful coral reefs, and picturesque scenic routes.
Linh Ung Pagoda: Located in the But Beach area of the peninsula, Linh Ung Pagoda is famous for its traditional architecture harmoniously blending with modern elements. Hai Van Pass
The Hai Van Pass is approximately an hour's motorcycle ride from central Da Nang. It stretches for 21 kilometers, with its highest point reaching 496 meters above sea level. "Hai Van," meaning "Sea Clouds," describes this place, which Jeremy Clarkson from the TV show Top Gear once described as "one of the most beautiful coastal roads in the world."
Currently, there are two routes across the Hai Van Pass: the road tunnel (not accessible to motorcycles) and the mountain pass road.
Ba Na Hills
Located approximately 40 km from Da Nang, Ba Na Hills offers a cool climate and four-season weather in a single day. Visitors can explore prominent sites such as Linh Ung Pagoda, Debay Wine Cellar, Le Jardin D'Amour flower garden, and the Golden Bridge. Overnight stays in the French Village provide a unique experience.
Marble Mountains (Ngũ Hành Sơn)
The Marble Mountains, or Ngũ Hành Sơn in Vietnamese, consists of five mountains named according to the five elements theory: Kim Son (Metal Mountain), Moc Son (Wood Mountain), Thuy Son (Water Mountain), Hoa Son (Fire Mountain), and Tho Son (Earth Mountain). Each mountain is imbued with its own mythical legends and unique mystical beauty.
The caves within these mountains, such as Kim Son's Am Phu Cave, Hoa Son's Huyen Vi Cave, and Thuy Son's Thien Long Cave and Thien Phuoc Dia Cave, though not extensive in size, evoke various emotional experiences due to their sacred and ethereal beauty.
